Headset Profile not showing up for Bluetooth headset

I have a T42 with bluetooth built in. I purchased a Motorola HS850 to use with the Vonage Softphone. I have gotten the laptop to recognize the headset, but it does not give an option to use as a headset in the audio profile. When I click on properties and then services in my bluetooth devices, the only service that is there is one for a Serial port(SPP) 'Serial Command" on COM6. How do I get it to show as a Headset?
