Fn + F2 doesn't work after restore. What to do?

#1 Post by krma-thkpds » Tue Jan 31, 2006 7:13 pm

I have recently restored my system to factory state and now I can't figure out why my Fn+F2 shortcut which used to locked my computer doesn't work?

Anyone has a suggestion?

Hi,

the only time Fn+F2 didn't work for me was when I hadn't the screen utility (on-screen display) installed, so that's the only thing I could suggest.

However, at that time the other OSD gimmicks (volume level, AC, screen brightness etc.) weren't displayed, either.

Cheers, AMS

This can't be it, because I have the latest On Screen Display installed and everything else (volume, forward/backward keys, CapsLock) works fine.

IMO, you should try searching "tpfnf2.exe" in your computer.
