S- Video

Many TVs these days have a VGA input. I just ordered the Samsung LNT4661f which does full pixel-for-pixel 1920x1080 on a 46" monitor over VGA and HDMI/DVI! Great prices on Amazon!

This trend may be why the Thinkpad doesn't have S-Video anymore. The S-Video was pretty low res anyway. Couldn't get above 640x480 and still read text.

Perhaps the S-video will return to the T-series now that the Z is possibly coming to an end
