Purchased a pretty comprehensive Workpad Z50 kit from HoldMyBeerAndWatchThis around 2 months ago.. sorry for the slow reply-
Couldn't be happier! system came just as my X200 was going in the shop and I was able to continue my writing and minimal email needs for the following 2 months while the X was in and out of repair!

Thanks!!!

Just completed a transaction with ThinkPad for a Advanced dock, Ultrabay adapter and a hdd. I was the buyer, he the seller. Smooth, quick and professional throughout. All items where in excellent condition, and well packaged. Would not hesitate to deal with ThinkPad again. Thank you.

I have bought 2 Thinkpads from ajkula66 (George - your friendly FlexView farmer). He communicated well, did what he said he would do and the TP's were as he described. DO NOT HESITATE TO PURCHASE FROM GEORGE!!!

Belated cudos to George (ajkula66) for an excellent 15" T43. I'm actually enjoying using the larger lcd, even after I have proclaimed many times I didn't want a larger screen...Oh well....

Thanks again George,

Just want to express my thanks to ethink for the prompt and reliable delivery of two 512MB RAM modules for the T23. I was pleased to deal with him, and would be glad to do so again.

Confession on my part here: I'm usually afraid to sell planars, because of some bad past experiences.

That doesn't apply to Bob (Robbyrobot) who turns every deal into a GREAT experience.

I'm glad I was able to help, and may these boards work well as long as you need them to..

Thanks once again.

Many thanks to harryc for a no-brainer, quicker-than-you-can-blink memory transaction. He also went the extra mile to make sure the ram was well packed and protected during it's very short journey. Never had a problem with any of my dealings with Harry, so you too can shop with confidence! :D

I'm glad I was able to help a fellow T43 buff in need...may your "new" ThinkPad serve you well.

I just received a DVD/CDRW from Kaervak. It was shipped off on Monday from Ohio and I received it at noon in beautiful SouthWestern AZ!

The whole transaction was comfortable and easy. He responded to my questions and sent off my DVD/CDRW with a tracking number also.

Works perfect

Thanks Kaervak!

Just bought some PC133 RAM for my X30 from HarryC.

It was VERY well packed, shipped quickly, and all-around a smooth transaction.
I would buy from this gentleman again.

...all of which is in huge (and welcome) contrast to recent experience with a few ebay sellers.
All the more reason to buy from folks here on the forum.

Thanks again Harry!

I want to leave kudos for Brad in NY.

It was just a fan sale....not a big deal...except I needed that laptop back in operation asap....and his fan arrived right on-time, was brand-new sealed as stated, was the exact right part# as he stated....went right in and worked a treat. 8)

And while we were trading emails on the fan-transaction, Brad kindly answered several other questions for me about HD compatibility in another TP model. He does repairs and upgrades to put food on the table....so I appreciated the generosity of that gift of his time and expertise.

My deepest

to Scott (spuddog) who, for reasons known only to himself, sold me an absolutely gorgeous ThinkPad for the amount of $$$ that I spend monthly on cigarettes...therefore allowing me to start my twin boys as ThinkPadders with a newer machine than any of my own... :thumbs-UP:

I honestly hope to be able to return this tremendous favour during this lifetime.

Many, many thanks once again.

Thanks to George (ajkula66) for the quick payment and the kind words. The best deal is when both parties are happy. I know I am, and I hope the machine fulfills his needs (and his boys).

A belated but well-deserved tip o' the hat to Underclocker....who solved our longstanding off-grid cabin "low power connection server" problem in both high-style and at a great price.

A nice fast modern R60, with a 250gb HD and DVD-RW already in it; for the same or less than an R51/intel would've cost by the time I got done equipping one with the necessaary large-HD and dvdrw. And I still wouldn't have gotten superfast gigabit enet like this has. Heck, this R60 even has ibm warranty still on it....lol...

Now I'm very glad that nobody ever met my long-running Marketplace 'WTB' for an R51 in the $150 range!

funny how sometimes life's 'disappointments' turn into successes....and when it happens, it's usually due to folks like Underclocker. :thumbs-UP:

Thanks very very much Ed.......the R60 has been doing its job 24/7 since the day it arrived; and with only 11 watts draw even without optimizing it yet. 8)
