overheating t43p - solution

#1 Post by AdaSch » Sat Feb 04, 2006 8:00 pm

Hi,

becouse i don't find solution for overheating in t43p i get this problem in my hand.

first - i don't konow why my fan have only 4200 rpm in mode 7 (maximum)

second - when laptop is tuned on my fan have very high rpm

solution:

when windows works execute fan control

remove keyboard, and stop fan using finger - only few sec

when fan monitor show status fan = off, start fan agin (use finger)

ok

my fan have about 5000+ rpm and... 0 crasches in games (tested in et - 2 hours in maximum detail and resolution 1200x1024),

maximum temp system is 70deg
thats all

we must correct bios or wait on lenovo when he correct this probleM

Yes
temp gpu reach 85deg C and crash

cpu have 65 deg C

when use profile "ballane all parametrs" gpu use powerplay profile and have only 30fps and maximum temp is 65deg C

p.s.

how many you have rpms (fan) in mode 7? i have only 4200. I think here is problem. Rotation is too slow
