Can T30 Pentium 4 Mobile CPU be replaced with Pentium M?

Hi everyone

This is my second post. One of friends recommending to buy a Pentium M CPU running at 1.5 or 1.6 GHz to replace the Mobile Pentium 4 1.8GHz running at 400MHz bus in my T30 to get better performance and battery life.

Can I replace it with Pentium M CPU which supports Centrino?

The Intel Chipset in the T30 is 915.

I don't think they're even pin compatible, let alone chipset compatibility problems. The PM processors run on Intel 855PM in the T40.
