Wireless configuration for X24

Can't get my X24 (Win2KSp4) with Actiontec minipci wireless card to recognize my Linksys router. Anybody able to tell me what settings to use on the X24 so that it will accept the Linksys security settings? The Linksys support guy feels the problem is entirely due to the age of my card and my inability to make the correct settings on such an antique.
