Changing the keyboard bezel to a integrated fingerprint read

I was wondering does anyone know if you can change an T42 keyboard bezel, to one which has the integrated fingerprint reader. I really want the fingerprint reader on my T42.

Would you not have to have a separate chip to use the fingerprint reader thouhg? I could be wrong, but I doubt they come with the palmrest.
