Thinkpad X24 and external battery ?

Hi,

is it possible to use and second battery in the X24 mediaslice ? Or is the an external accu like that for X30/X40 which replaces the Mediaslice ?

NOPE. you cannot use ultrabay 2000 battery in ultrabase x2. Wondered about the same thing myself a while ago and got disappointed.

i would suggest you simply get an extra battery if you are on the road often. also nothworthy is the fact that x23 seems to have at least 50% longer battery life compared to x24, without sacrificing much in performance.
