How do I claim $100 rebate outside the US ?

#1 Post by arion » Wed Feb 15, 2006 4:37 pm

I am going to buy a ThibkPad Z60m and there is a $100 rebate at the moment. I am in Australia so how can I go about getting the rebate as it says only in the US even though I am buying from the US ?

Thanks.

I don't know the terms of the rebate program, but you will need an address within the US, where they send the check to. If you know someone, send him/her all necessary documents he/she can claim the rebate.

Although I've never used it - you might want to check out
http://www.shopthestates.com

It basically gives you a US postal address so you can buy stuff from the states. They will then calculate shipping for you and send the goods.

Seems like it could be a good idea.

Cheers,
Rob.

Mkay... I will check that site out :)

Might come in handy, since even the most basic model in the Netherlands begins at 2500 Dollar :(
