Presentation Director 2.41b
I just used the Software Installer to update to the new Presentation Director (2.41b). The update says it changes a few things include:
-(New) Support DVI monitor switching function with Intel video
(only for DVI supported system)
I'm confused what this means. I was under the understanding that the integrated Intel video card does NOT support DVI. If so, why does it need to be able to support DVI monitor switching?
Thanks!

(Yes, this is the Intel Graphics version which I didn't realize can NOT drive the DVI port on the replicator before I bought it:-()

hello smstewart_9554,
thanx for the pesentation director news....
did you check if the dvi port (of a docked tp with integrated intel graphics) now works with the new presentation director??
i would be happy to use the tp with a future tft connected with a dvi cable
i think the intel graphics are capable of driving dvi displays but the drivers are not (yet)
please stay on the ball with this question!

I'd love to try my port replicator DVI port but alas my cheap flat panel monitor only has vga input.
Perhaps someone else would be able to test this as I would also like to know if my Intel graphics can drive the DVI port with updated drivers.

hi smstewart_9554,
I installed the new Presentation Director on a R51 with integrated Intel Graphics (same as some T4x models).
As I expected, it is still not possible to choose the DVI port when creating a new PD Profile....(tp in dock)
Intel and IBM nope LENOVO need to optimize the f** graphics driver
cheers

I don't think that IBM/Lenovo could optimize the driver easily at all on the GMA 900 cards. Those drivers, even though they may come trhough IBM/Lenovo, are maintained by Intel. IBM/Lenovo *could*, in theory, write out their own so that the Intel cards would support DVI output, but that would be pretty difficult, times consuming with no clear reward, and might get Intel a tad confused/annoyed.
