New Presentation Director 2.41b

IBM had just released the new presentation director version 2.41b yesterday. The problem is after installing it. My computer takes 30 seconds more to boot into usable state. I want to know whether any other person experience the same problem with it.

I am experiencing the same problem am very annoyed by it. Have you made any invstigation into it?

I have the same problem. (Delay at startup getting to XP desktop). I will revert to the prior version and see if this improves

Interesting! I haven't installed the new version yet but I did experience system boot slowdown with the new Access Connections though (version 4.11a). Quite annoying, so I reverted back to v.3.81 and everything's back to normal.

No problem here with the new version PD. Have not, however, installed the new AC.

No problems here with a T43 that has the recent AC and PD releases installed.

No problems here, the T43 boots up just as fast as it did before. :)

Today when i booted my thinky, the problem miracously dissapeared! YEY! Haven't investigate why yet, but i'm happy!
