Yeah, I weighed it using a balance in my lab, so 2.76 lbs is the actual weight and not just an estimate. It has a 4-cell battery. It's a pity that Lenovo would rather sell the 8-cell battery for most models, making them half a pound heavier. I don't like anything above 2.99 lbs, because whenever I go to conferences, I need to carry a laptop in my backpack for almost 10 hours everyday for 5 to 10 days in a row. The 5.2-lb TP600E that I previously owned and the 4.15-lb Dell Inspiron 700m that I still have were both way too heavy.Herr Yunta wrote:pianowizard: did you weigh your X40 at 2.76lbs? they just ship it out...sonoma wrote:floyyed, were there any dead or stuck pixels on your LCD screen?
I have an X32 and weighed it a 3 lbs 11 oz; an X22 I have weighed 3 lb 8 oz. Thus I am interested in 2lbs 12oz.pianowizard wrote:When you receive it, would you weigh it if possible? My X40 is 2.76 lbs and am curious whether the X60s is really lighter.

this time, X60 ships from Shanghai, not hongkong...
1. LCD cover is very thin, but still strong, not a weak plastic, I like it.mzd wrote:Floyyed,
Can you write some reviews on your x60s? Such as design, keyboard, battery life, heat, fan noise issues? We are waiting for your reviews, since you are lucky to receive a x60s so early. Thanks,
