X21 LCD
Hi! Just a newbie here so Please bear with me.
I just got my x21 thinkpad for a very low price and I love it. However, my concern is the screen. Its resolution is at 800x600. Is there a compatible LCD screen that is capable of 1024x768 resolution?
If its possible can anyone point to the right the direction on where to buy and how to install it?
if its not possible, i'd like to replace it nevertheless coz its getting a bit yellowish. Please help
btw, im a located in the philippines. any other Filipino's here?

Actually, I just checked...the 41U and 42U are SVGA and are limited to 800x600.
You should be able to find an X2* XGA LCD and replace them, but you mill most likely need to replace the video subcard and cable as well.
Here is the Hardware Maintenance Manual for your system:
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mo ... 4p2975.pdf
This will help you along the way.
