Possible motherboad problem

ive had this evergrowing problem whenever my T41 would be grabbed around either handrest the screen would go completely black and if it doesnt go black i see colors or stripes on the screen i have pushed on the right palm rest and sometimes it goes back to normal sometimes i just shut it off and it fixes, it is worring me more and more if anyone would know what or how to help please let me know
