T-30 Bat light flashing

Recently replaced the battery in my T-30. Thye bat lamp flashes even though I have conditioned (charged / discharged) the battery. If I remove the battery and re-insert it, it stays lit for some time but next time the machine sleeps the bat light flashes. Battery is showing 100% charged (or 99%). I have cleaned the terminals on both the battery and the machine. It works 100% just the bat light flashes and is anoying. Any ideas?
