Movingfrom 1 ThinkPad to a new one.

#1 Post by PutnamJct » Fri Feb 24, 2006 11:34 am

Hi,

My T23 has finally given up on me. The LCD backlight is either dead or close to it. I had the problem fixed once efore when it was under warranty, but the warranty expired last month.

Is their an easy way to copy all of my files from 1 machine to the other? I'd love to not have to copy everything maually across the network but am guessing that that is the only way.

John

you can get a usb adapter that can convert your laptop drive to a usb drive and then copy/back up your software.
