Intel Pro 2915abg on T40?

Hi,
Sorry if this was asked B4.
Just getting T40 to replace T21. Will Intel Pro 2915abg card work on T40?
It has latest BIOS.

A 2915ABG will work fine IF the T40 is wireless enabled (that basically means it has the antennas installed along the edge of the screen).

If it doesn't have the antennas fitted, you can buy and fit them yourself, but it is not a task for the faint hearted!

I have a 23737CU (wireless upgradable model). I'm just a bit concerned about ordering that part since it doesn't list T40 as a compatible model.

In our business group we have IBM supplied 2915ABG cards running in T40s. I don't personally have a T40.
