Hi !
Guys, could anyone please, who has X41 Tablet with 4-cell or 8-cell battery, share with me your experience of battery life.
My Tablet , which is equipped with 4-cell standard battery, can survive only 1h-20min, using IE and WiFI .. is it normal ?
thanx !!!!

My 8 cell can go ~5 hours easily in max battery mode. I am constantly adjusting settings depending on my usage though.
Some things you want to try:
-ajust the LCD brightness as low as you feel is comfortable. If Im just typing notes or whatever, I leave it at the lowest setting. I can quickly make it brighter using the FN buttons for other tasks.
-I use a little program which allows you to ajust the power scheme on the fly(I think its called Speedswitch XP but Im not 100%). This allows me to easily turn down the juice for less intensive applications.
-I also turn off the LCD when Im not actively using the tablet to conserve power(another easy FN button)
You might also want to check out a little program called Centrino Hardware Control. It will allow you to adjust the voltages etc for even more power savings. I haven't used it much, however, as I am constantly shifting the settings depending on my usage. Also, I seem to remember that there were different power settings for the Wifi adapter that might also give you more power.
If all else fails, pick up an 8-cell battery or the extended life one.
