T42 512 to 1 gig ram upgrade?

I am considering upgrading my 512 ram to 1 gig. Looking at newegg cheap prices. I don't run any heavy graphics intensive programs or do much gaming but will the upgrade be noticable for normal use (office, firefox, itunes, IM, etc.)?

If you open all those programs at the same time, then yes there will be a difference.

Laptop logic provided a good article. Some programs may be CPU hogs and others maybe RAM/page file hogs

Get it from eBay. Cheap at $20 + shipping. You can also match it with the module installed in your Tpad.
