Are IBM eServer drives compatible with Thinkpads?

Are IBM eServer drives compatible with Thinkpads?

Hi, I have the option to get an IBM eServer drive. I need a new drive for my Thinkpad T23 - is the drive compatible with Ultrabay 2000 - I have tried looking for this information, to no avail.

I would think that the server drive is a 3.5" drive and TP's are 2.5"
Rocking with a T400 for work, and a T60 at home

Forgot to mention that it is a DVD drive - sorry about that. It looks the same as my other Ultrabay 2000 drive.

After further reading on this board, I have concluded that I may just need to replace the shell - this is good news.
