Yay for me, a new ThinkPad Owner!

2Ghz 2MB
512MB (2GB soon)
X300 64MB
80GB 5400rpm
DVD Recordable
11ABG
Bluetooth

Paid $1896.47 total. Ships in 2 weeks.

Is there anything I need to know about this system?

Should I buy on-site warranty or ThinkPad Protection?

What case would you all recommend?

I would get the 3 year warranty and on-site service if I could.

How did you manage the Bluetooth option.
I could not find it when I configured mine couple of weeks ago..

Also, the TSW reseller here had it in stock as well, so I could touch and feel it on display and then get a fresh model. But that, in general, is rare since (until recently) most IBM Thinkpads were bought primarily online if the consumer wanted to go to IBM directly.

You can also call up a rep at IBM/Lenovo and talk to them and let them configure a system to match your specs.
