Folks,
Perhaps someone out there can enlighten me on how to upgrade the processor in my 390E which is now a Pentium 300PE.
Took the CPU board out to get a look at it. Not what I expected to see. It appeared to me that the heat sink is riveted to the board and that the processor is attached by surface mount technology.
So I'm assuming that any upgrade is likely to be a better processor mounted on an equal board.
Is this board indeed some kind of standard? If so what processors already mounted will work in my machine?
