T-20 and amateur radio software

Hello!

I will get today my T-20 (P-III 500, 256Mb, 20Gb, Win XP Pro) and wonder how it will perform in ham (amateur) radio applications, as PSK-31, RTTY, ... Has somebody experience with this?

Hi Jose,

I think there's no problem for using Ham radio software on your t20 (rtty, CW, PSK,SSTV Fax even the new digital mode DRM etc..)

I use a t22 it work great more speedy than my desktop computer same speed. But i use win98se I think that will work better with winXp.

Thanks for your answer!. Well, I finally received the T20 and have found that it is NOT a 500MHz but a 650MHz unit (great!). It has a very nice TFT except for an small mark, about 3 cm from display bottom, and about 0.5mm x 2mm. Well, I can live with it!
It has arrived with several ham radio programs already installed !. I have checked and they seem to work fine, despite Windows XP Pro. As it has just 256Mb RAM it is possible I go back to Win98SE or perhaps upgrade RAM (what would you do?)
All in all, I am a happy camper!

If the TP is running your HAM programs O.K. now, another 256MB main memory will be a significant improvement, provided your BIOs can operate more memory.
