Not yet....

"(Fix) CPU Microcode is updated." I wonder exactly what this means... Does it still permit us to upgrade the CPU? or does it limit us to a list of approved CPU? (like 2.0 GHz max...)

I did download the controller.

BIOS wasn't updated where the download link pointed to (still the 1.08) and i couldn't manually find the 1.09 (GET37)

Now, they've completely removed the page with the updated 1.09 information

That's true, I wonder why.

I was able to update the bios to 1.09 last week and I didn't experienced any problem.

Zeitgeist: would it be possible for me to get the latest bios from you? Maybe you can email it to me at Stingbandel@yahoo.com since they have removed it without any reason.

Sorry, I have deleted the latest version since after the update you will never need it again.

But I am sure IBM had a reason to withdraw the bios 1.09.

stevenvh:

Hi, thanks I got it already. But is there any chance you have the version without using the floppy disk?

The one that can be used under the Windows environtment? I don't have a floppy drive on my machine so not sure how to install this one.

thanks
