Bios Update WorkAround

is their any way to get the bios update utility to work update the bios without a fully charged battery. My batt is dead u see i heard somewhere that holding scroll lock and pressing the update bypasses it any ideas guys

You dont have a fully charged battery or a floppy? You could do a search in these forums as this is a subject that has been covered b4. However after reading a bit I decided to buy a floppy drive($12 shipped on ebay) and a new battery ($55 shipped on ebay)
