Orange light from battery led?

Sometimes the battery led light orange eventhough I have my T40/P connected to my miniDock, anyone knows why?

Its orange when the battery is charging.

ok after some time it changes to green and blinks...guess it is still charging?

Yes, it is still charging; when it's done, it will change to solid green.

solid green - plugged in and not charging
solid orange - charging, and has a while until charge completion
blinking green - charging, but almost finished (like about 90% or something)
blinking orange - on battery, and battery is almost dead
