T4x differences

#1 Post by ex-SOLDIER » Tue Mar 07, 2006 11:52 am

Hello, I was wondering as to how the performance differs between the models of T41p to the T43p. Most of the places I look for only go progressively between T41 vs. T42 and T42 vs. T43.
Any feedback is appreciated.

I am probably wrong but don't most of the 'p' series machines come with the 9 cell battery and bluetooth as well?

Also, 2915ABG NIC was introduced, as was PCI-Express.

What does the "p" after the number stand for?

My IBM just says T41 and not T41p.

well I have professional in my t41,
what kind of power/performance increase would a T41p have.

Only the FireGL T2, which is considerably stronger than the Radeon 9000.

Unfortunately, some of the info @det922 gave is incorrect:
det922 wrote: t41 is radeon 7500
Here is a T41 with the Radeon 9000. I have also found T43's with Radeon 7500 and Radeon 9000 video cards.

The T43 uses the 915 Chipset

For one, the 15" UXGA-IPS display.

In the T series, only available on the "p" models .

James you are too hard on us. 8)
The suspense is too much. At least drop some clues.

For example with my planned upgrades (minus the ATI stuff) will my p-less T41 be equal to the T41p performance/power wise?

That's true, although the non-p models have SXGA+ IPS displays.

However, remember that we're talking about the T41 here, which never had 15" models and any kind of IPS to begin with.
