FS: --> T4x / R5x Series 9-Cell Batteries

#1 Post by brainpicker » Tue Mar 07, 2006 7:47 pm

I have some of those higher-capacity versions of the T4x / R5x Series 9-Cell Batteries available if anyone is interested. I don't need all I have so I'll make a few available here at a fair price. They are all in sealed boxes, part number 92P1102, and manufactured in November 2005 so they are very new. If you don't mind them being shipped in their IBM box only I will deliver each to a Mainland US location for $69. I don't know how much shipping will be to other places but I'm open to anything and will get back to you with a quote to your country.

Please respond by e-mail only as my box fills up here quickly. I'll get back with you as soon as possible.

Thanks,
-Yak

I am never quite sure if my PMs go through. They seem to hang out in my outbox longer than I expect them to. I am sorry if I have asked you twice.

I was just wondering if you had any of those 9 cells left.

Thanks,

~Rich

PMs remain in your outbox until they're read by the recipient.

'Sorry if I didn't respond as quickly as normal. I have a job that sucks more and more each day, and the drugs needed to supress my misery and short-term memory have made time with my laptops more scarse (due to the drool dripping on the keyboard... I don't know if my R51 and X41 have the drain under the keyboard like the T's do!).

Anyway at last check I have one 9-cell and one 6-cell left that I can spare, though I might have more coming in soon if I choose to buy them. The 6-cell is a new pull from my R51 which I never used (or at least I don't remember using it... may be the drugs again!). In any case I'll be glad to charge it and report the numerical findings should there be a serious interest. No charge.

Thanks.

No problem. I am a little inexperienced with the forums PM app. You responded much quicker than I expected. Thank you.

I sent you a second PM. ( I promise not to panic this time)

~Rich

On a side note: Thank you JHEM for explaining to me how the PM delivery system works.

I had enough interest yesterday alone to go ahead and buy the rest of the batteries I was offered last week, so I'll have some more arriving Monday. If anyone wants one please let me know and I will reserve one for you awaiting their arrival, then ship it out immediately.

Same batteries. Same terms of course ($69 delivered to mainland US).

I hope everyone knows I can be trusted, and that I'm not getting rich on these things as it's well known what the prices are on a battery like this (and that it has run about $7-8 to ship one insured via USPS Priority in the sealed IBM box).

Please respond via e-mail.

OK, the batteries arrived today (some made in November and some in December) so anyone who contacted me should be receiving an e-mail soon. IF NOT, send one off to me again. I'm holding back a few extras so if you want one please ask. My e-mail link is below. A forum member has requested to buy everything I have left so I likely won't be able to get you one this time around if I don't hear from you by Noon Monday. Since my profit on these is about a buck & a quarter each after shipping I'd rather help out the little guy needing one for his/her personal Thinkpad, but I'm open to selling to any forum member who promises not to resell them.

Thanks,
- Yak

All the 9-Cell batteries from this latest supply are now sold! The 6-Cell pulled from my R51 when new is still available however ($55 Delivered).

If you stalled for some reason and have not sent your payment, well please don't send it now (Mr_Roboto please check your e-mails!). When I get more I will let everyone know, assuming there is interest for a few dozen more.

Thanks.
