I mean if I really disabled it, I should have gotten messages indicating that I have to renable the chip, whenever I opened the client security software. So basically, my BIOS says that my chip is off, but the client security software in windows says that its enabled. What is going on here? Is my chip really disabled? How do I make the security software recognize the chip as disabled, if it really is, as indicated by the BIOS.
I have also directly tried to disable the chip through the client software itself, by selecting chip settings. But after the restart, the software still sees the chip as enabled...
BTW, I am running 3.19 BIOS IRETDNWW; 3.04 Embedded Controller; and 5.43 client security software.
