Hi,
I've jjust bought a X60 and would like to migrate my data/applications from my old X40? Has anyone done this before, if so what program did you use?
If I ghosted my X40 onto another HDD would I be able to plug it in to my X60 and get it working?
Migrating from X40 to X60
no, you can't ghost your drive and get it working that way.
my personal preference would be to re-install all the applications on the X60. if that seems too daunting, then try PC Relocator from AlohaBob. I believe Microsoft recently purchased this company to ease customer migration to Vista:
