Wifi drops when docked into port replicator

Hi
Is anyone else experiencing this -
When I dock my T43 2686-E7U into the port replicator my Wifi connection strength goes from very good to low!

I know it's not the vicinity of location of the port replicator. If I bring my laptop close to the port replication (but not dock it) the strength remains very good.

Any idea folks?
