Feedback ? What the main negatives for the T41

Hi

Im about to but a T41,
based in the Uk we havent got much choice, so ive gone for this one

1.60GHz Intel Pentium M Processor
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
512MB/ 2GB/PC2700 DDR SDRAM
40GB (ATA-100 (Enhanced IDE))

it has a 5400 rpm hard drive.

Id like to know what wer ethe major downsides to the T41, from the forums ive established there is an issue with the fan, but can someone elaborate, is it such a concern that i should not buy this machine

Why are you restricted to certain models in the UK? I live in France and bought my T42 from Bill (the 'owner' of this forum)

If you're worried about ANY of the issues with the T41, chose a T42 from the US site - or the TABOOK - and get Bill to send it to you. My T42 with 15" screen is superb...
