T60P 2623DDU shipped!!!

Hey folks..

I've been reading these forums for a little while and have been in the same delay situation as some of you. My original ship date was 3/17 on my order that was places on 2/10.

Well this morning I had the date moved back to 4/06 but then during the afternoon friday I got a confirmation e-mail that my order has shipped. Both components. The T60P and the extra 1gb of ram.

I know people have had their 2007 series p's shipped but we were all seemingly waiting to the DDU's// guess it's not the Verizon card after all..

My ship date went from 4-3(Monday) to 4-4 to 4-5 to 4-6 to 4-7 to 4-10(Monday). See a pattern?

Yeah. They're keeping the ship date 2 weeks out from the current date.

Yeah.. I'm looking forward to getting this. I haven't got a tracking number yet but I assume that'll be updated on Monday.

My 2623DDU is marked as having shipped today as well. I was just checking one last time before asking to have my model changed and saw that it was marked as shipped. I'll confirm once I have it in my grubby little hands.

I am still seeing the 4/14 est. shipping date, and I ordered mine on Feb 22nd. I gotta say that I am in dire need of a new laptop, as my Dell is looking a bit under the weather - especially since I've been traveling with it everyday for the last 3 months - before that it saw nothing but my desk...

Also, do any of you guys know when Lenovo is supposed to release the Cingular EDGE based T60's?

On Sunday I received a notification that all or part of my order had shipped

Well, it was "part" of my order. The mini-dock shipped.

The 2623DDU as been "split" into a new order, which is still pending w/ a 4/10 ETA.

Watch, my 30 day return period will run out on the docking port before I ever get a chance to insert the T60 into it.

I wish they would just ship it all at once and stop TEASING me

I've been trying to get through to Lenovo to make sure to no avail.
My order confirmation page at Lenovo is very messed up.

It has my order split up into 4 things including 2 T60p's.
Got to be a glitch.

As far as the e-mail confirmation goes.

Line # -- Part # -- Description -- Unit Price -- Qty Ordered -- Qty Shipped
1 -- 2623DDU -- yadda yadda specs -- xxx -- 1 -- 1
2 -- 40Y7734 -- 1GB xtra ram -- xxx -- 1 -- 1

so the e-mail confirmes everything has shipped and the total i'm being charged obviously reflects both items.

However the online Lenovo order status is definitely having some bad days for me.
But I would take the e-mail over the website anyday, especially if i'm being billed for the full amount.
