Intermittent Intel Wireless 2915 connection

I see that there are some old posts on this but thought I should start a new thread.

Three month old T43 (2687 4DU) with Intel 2915 Pro wireless. When I was at home it worked flawlessly with my Linksys router. I am now relocated in China, have a Netgear Router.

My wife's T23, no problem. My T43, I cannot hold onto a connection for any extended period of time for the most part. Sometimes it will actually keep a connection for an hour or so. As I am typing this, I lost my connection.

I have spent hours on the phone with IBM (oops, connection just re-made) and they have no answers. "We are having a lot of problems with that Intel card" I did try the updated driver, no help. They had me download an update to AC, helped for a day, no it headed south again.

They say that I might need a new wireless card but the vaunted international warranty leaves something to be desired, despite the China origin of the machine and a boatload of Lenovo outlets.

Any ideas of other steps I might take??
