Has anybody tried Win Vista on his A31p???

#1 Post by stingbandel » Sun Mar 19, 2006 6:35 pm

I was wondering,I have A31p (P4 2.5) and will that machine handle Win Vista?

I have 1GB of RAM installed right now. Maybe someone has tried the beta version and would be able to share his experience with it.

Thanks

I dunno where to get it since I don't have one. If I could get a hand on it then I would try it and post the result.

The reason I ask is to know if A31p can handle with new OS.

So maybe someone who has the beta one can share the info.

thanks

I've got my R40 running vista and it does great it gets kind of sluggish but I love it. One thing you might want to do is install it onto a different hard drive. I don't get the Aero theme but it still seems like a complete rewrite of the system. I got mine from my MSDN subscription but you can download it from most torrent sites. Never, Ever download it from LimeWire or BearShare. The current build is Build 3805.
