z60m audio "bzzurp"

Hello,
I have a z60m (2529gau) with windows XP, 1.25gb ram, etc.
Anyways when listening to audio or some video files; when I pause the music/movie the audio ends in a "bizzurp" noise. Sometimes its very loud, sometimes its quiet, and sometimes its not there.

Ive reinstalled audio drivers twice, including with tech support once. We had been thinking it had something to do with Winamp, but it keeps happening, and in other programs..

Anyone have any ideas?

I experience the same on my z60t, i'll be curious to hear if anyone has a solution.

i get the bzzzt after a pause or stop as well in winamp. i messed with audio hardware accel settings, buffer lengths and types in winamp, all to no avail.

windows media player didnt have the bzzzt. odd.
