Is is possible to upgrade from xga to sxga+?

#1 Post by indiglo » Mon Mar 20, 2006 2:28 am

Hi! All. May I ask that is it possible to upgrade my T42 (2373-4wu, 14.1" xga, Radeon 7500) to 1400x1050 sxga+? If yes, should I just buy the sxga+ lcd? Or need others parts, for examples?
Thanks very much.

Regards,

indiglo

Yes, it is possible. You are going to need the LCD (most common FRU 92P6760) and the SXGA+ LCD cable (you can get this direct from IBM, FRU 91P6942)

I am using that exact combination in my T40 and its working great.
