Encyclopedia
I've found much help from this website.
I think it would be worth it to index an "encyclopedia" or manual of things you can do in situations of emergency.
It's not like a massive typing project of various articles.
It would be an organized index of helpful threads & quotes.

No harshness implied, other than an attempt to have you realize that the Admins and Moderators aren't here to serve you.ThinkPad R wrote:Wo-ho! That's a little bit too harsh.... I have a partially worked on .doc.

We're a community of equals, some are just a little more equal than others is all.
Got a good idea for an addition? Let's see your thoughts on it and we'll run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes.

No. I didn't mean that. It was just a joke.
I sent you the doc. If anybody else wants it, as I continue to work on it, I'll e-mail them -if their email shows.

you can earn feathers if you put something together and present it as a work in progress..ThinkPad R wrote:No. I didn't mean that. It was just a joke.

I would second this; make it into a small Wiki perhaps (Although *well* controlled).BillMorrow wrote:you can earn feathers if you put something together and present it as a work in progress..ThinkPad R wrote:No. I didn't mean that. It was just a joke.

There are certain issues that always come up in the course of use of a Thinkpad that could be at least partially solved by the clever usage of a FAQ, which we already have, and something very similar to ThinkWiki.
I would also be willing to help out if need be.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

Thank you!
FAQ? I must check that out. ThinkWiki? I've visited it before, but it does provide maintenance guide?
I better look more closely into that website as well!
