T42 to t43 changeover

I'm living in Tokyo and currently have a t42 2373 7wm. Lenovo in Japan has some really great promotions on right now clearing out t43's (i work for IBM so the price is even better). Can you recommend changing to a t43 from a t42 or is it really just not worth it. I've beeb tossing up getting a t60 but the t43s are a real bargain.

Also if I bought a japanese version of t43 or t60. Is it simply a matter of replacing the japanese keyboard with an english one or are there other things which also need to be replaced

I believe you will have Japanese version of windows too. You might want to check on that.

Unless the specs really differ (like XGA vs SXGA+, 1.6GHz vs 2.0GHz, 40GB vs 80GB etc), it's not worth it. On similar specs, these models perform similarly.
