Why i was not able to log in ?

#1 Post by sco1984 » Wed Mar 22, 2006 1:08 pm

Hello All,
This post is to admins of this FORUM.

I bought IBM® ThinkPad® on 28th July 2005, 1 of my friend told me
about this forum. I joined this forum immedietly by 2 Auguest 2005.
I found this forum cool. Recently, from last 2 and half weeks almost i
was unable to log in. When i type my user name and password and click
LOG IN , it again took me to Login In screen. :( I everyday
used to check. There was something wrong i bet. I sent message to
Kristofer on his Yahoo! ID about the problem, but i received no reply.
Alright. Might be i was unable to log in because some database upgradation from Forum admins side ? I am just curious, Or may be because bandwidth prob? As i access this forum from INDIA? Hoping to
hear from admin's. 8)

Regards,
Amey Abhyankar.

I'm not aware that you were "blocked" in any way by us.

Could be a problem on your end with software, firewall, popup blocker, etc.

What do you use to access the forums? IE? Firefox? Etc.? I've had tons of trouble over the past few months accessing the forums with Firefox, to the point I've given up and use IE.

Hello JHEM,
Thanx for quick reply. I use Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP2.
OS = Windows XP Professional with SP2
I also tried to log in by Mozilla® FireFox® 1.5
Same problem occured.
Windows default firewall is turned ON from the day i started
using ThinkPad® . Recently i am having this problem.
Yes pop-up block level is medium for Internet Explorer.

Have you tried creating a new user name and password?
