I've had no luck finding the leather cover for my TN either, especially as it's a left handed model.

I was able to grab a few of the leather "folio" covers however, almost as good and they also fit the A3X, T2X, T3X and T4X series machines.

I snagged one of those on eBay a while back. Someone seems to have a large supply of new ones, and he's slowly selling them off there. The problem is they're too nice - I don't carry mine because it makes me look pretty scruffy in comparison!

Speaking of the t-note, it ground a meeting at the office to a halt last week, as a lot of new people in the group hadn't seen one before. I had to do a 10-minute presentation on the thing before we could get back to work. It really is too bad these never caught on...I'd love one with built-in USB 2.0.

T-Note Cover

James,

I haven't very good luck tracking down one of these covers so far. Does this guy on ebay have them on a consistent basis, or is it pretty much Hit & Miss? :?

Apparently he has a stockpile of them and is doling them out slowly in order to keep the market price firm.

Orange lid

Although I am not very fond of the orange/black combination myself,
maybe this orange sleeve would make the picture complete. For you at least

Actually, they were designed for Apple notebooks. I have 2 B/W sleeves of this type.
One has been designed for Apple iBook 14", a perfect fit for my 14" T40; the other one is a PowerBook 12" model, I use that one for my X30!

I recommend these be-ez sleeves to everyone, great quality, perfect fit and nice design! And on top of that, with 25€-30€ a piece, not too expensive either. :)

Here is it, all orange and beautifull
Considering that the original ThinkPad design is said to have been inspired by the look of lacquered Japanese lunch boxes (bento), I have to say you're on to something here.

Note sure I like the clockwork orange look, my droogy, but still. Innnnteresting.

That orange looks too light. Mine is darker.
And it doesn't look like a lunch box
