SOLD: T42 mint - barely used, like new
Hi,
I'm putting my recently bought T42 (2373-4WU) up for sale, forced to sell because of financial reasons.
Specifications:
Pentium M 735 (1.7 MHz), 512MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 32MB ATI Radeon 7500 graphics, 24x24x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11b wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, 6 cell Li-Ion battery, IBM Active Protection System Hard Drive Protection, IBM onsite warranty, WinXP Pro-S.P. 2
This machine is just like new, absolutely immaculate in every way, no scratches, dents, wear, or marks anywhere. I am VERY careful and gentle with my laptops and this one has been babied. I bought this T42 brand new two months ago, and have used it very little, probably ten to fifteen times in total. The machine runs beautifully--quietly and with little heat, and the screen (Samsung) is very bright with no dead pixels. The battery has only one charge cycle on it. Asking $675 or best offer plus shipping. Pay Pal (bank account transfer, eCheck only, no credit or debit cards), money order or certified check. (e-bay vendors are currently selling the same model, used for much longer periods, for $200 to $300 more.) This really is an almost new system! I am fairly new to this forum so if you require it Bill Morrow will offer escrow services for me. Will come with original box and all manuals and accessories.

I'm formally calling dibs. I should be getting enough in my paypal account later on today...I'll let you know if there are any delays.
A few questions real quick:
1. How long is the remaining warranty on this?
2. $700 shipped sound reasonable? (Trying to figure out what needs to be budgeted)
3. Pics?
...actually, my other questions have been answered thanks to your posting the model number.
So, just let me know those 2 and I'll work things out on my end pending your answers

Thanks for letting me know.
Assuming the guy that owes me $500+ today doesn't screw me over, he'll be getting his $700 tonight or tomorrow morning
I also informed RDH that if there is a delay from the guy that owes me money, and someone else offers him a deal, I'd gladly step aside as I didn't want him to be stuck waiting around for the money.

Dibs
Dibs is a common convention used among friends or siblings to reserve or declare full or partial ownership of a community resource, such as a chair or communal food. As an example, when deciding who gets prime seating in front of a television, if there is one chair that is particularly desirable, an interested party can call "dibs" on that chair; as long as no one has previously called the chair, then it is agreed that the caller is entitled to sit there.

It's not allowing me to pay with an instant transfer, only allowing credit card for some reason...
any thoughts?
*update*
I checked again, and saw ECheck as an option...so I went ahead and used that.
