Pentium M 2.0 GHz equivalent to Pentium 4 desktop
whats the equivalent of a pentium M 2.0GHz to a pentium 4?

That comparison uses an old Pentium-M Banias core which only has 1MB L2 cache and loses some efficiency updates present in the Dothan cores.
T40-T41 - use banias cores
T42-T43 - use Dothan cores.
T60 - uses Yonah cores.

I like the above links - here's the one I like to use. I've tested some of the comparisons by compiling a PI program under gcc and calculating PI to 1 millon places. Seems fairly accurate. A 760 Pentium M 2.0 Ghz would be compariable to a 3.3 Ghz Pentium 4
