Figured I would go ahead and post a bit of information. This might be documented on the site yet haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
If you are trying to load your own version of windows via an original windows XP disc and you get the following error that an HDD is not detected please do the following:
Boot into bios via f1 on start up.
Go into config.
Go down to serial ATA and change from the standard setting to COMPATIBILITY.
Go back one screen.
Go into next option down which refers to the dual core processor.
You need to change this option to disabled.
Go ahead and reboot to the windows XP disc and now you will be able to load your operating system. Upon completion you should be able to boot back into the bios and change the dual core back to enabled mode. Operating system must be windows XP SP2 to support proper dual core.
