T42 and Bluetooth Headset

#1 Post by mientras » Sun Jul 25, 2004 5:07 pm

I have a TP 42 with bluetooth and a Motorola Bluetooth headset. I have been able to matc it to the PC I In the control panel/other devices/wireless link/bluetooth - it appears as an audio device.

Any idea how to make it work (I want to use it with my Vonage Softphone)?

So far the device does not show as an additional audio device.

Thanks

Thanks.

The IBM Bluetooth worked great with the Motorola HS810. It is impressive making a VoIP (Vonage) call via a wireless bluetooth headset from the softphone in my T42 connected via WiFi to the NET.

Hi is it correct that you can't connect from VoIP to fixed lines? I'd be interested in signing up for VoIP is so?

I got my new BT Motorola HS820 to pair with my T42 using pass code 0000 and after downloading the New IBM BT software which is linked in this thread.

But I still don't see a way to access it via Audio Devices. What's the trick in finishing the installation? Anyone know?

Thanks Steve
