"Error 302" When Booting 365XD

#1 Post by BobbyMurcerFan2 » Mon Mar 27, 2006 7:07 pm

When I boot my 365XD I sometimes (but not always) get the following error message:

Error 302

It appears to come from the BIOS. When I hit a key the machine continues to boot normally.

Any idea what this is? Should I be concerned?

I’ve thought it may be the CMOS battery. What happens if it goes? And do I lose the BIOS or the BIOS settings if I replace it?

THANKS for the HELP! :) :)

According to your User Guide, this error refers to a keyboard error.

And there are always a number of brand new keyboards listed on fleabay. The last one I bought I think was under $10US.

When the CMOS battery in my 365X started to die, my clock ran slow. And when I replaced it, I didn't lose the BIOS nor any BIOS settings.
