On Screen Display for caps lock has disappeared

I think you're looking for the "on screen display" utility. Run Software Installer and see if it's installed, or needs updating. There are several on screen utilities that I see running on my system, if you've recently disabled some startup items, that on-screen indicator was likely one of them.

Actually, the caps lock and num lock indicators is an XP thing. I've seen some computers that don't have it, and I really want to know how to toggle this functionality.
