Internet connections

Hi i just got a new T43 ( beautiful system) However the internet feels a little sluggish when on wifi, its very inconsistent and tends to disconnect itself. Although when i use a ethernet cable its works perfectly and fast. Should this be a cause for concern? is there anyway for sure to know what the problem is? what are the possible solutions.

Do you do all update of TV's "Software Installer"
& "System Update". Then All "Windows Update"....??
