I have a new T60p with the client power-on and HDD passwords enabled as well as the security chip and fingerprint reader enabled. However, most (but not all) of the time when I start my machine and swip a finger, the FP Reader does nothing -- no green check, no red X, nothing, requiring me to hit EXC and enter the passwords. It also is frequently (but less frequently than at power-on) unresponsive when I try the fingerprint login to Windows.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than EZ Serve?
